CHILDREN’S EDUCATION FUND
Meeting
Children’s Needs in ASIA
The six schools
in The Philippine Islands that CCEF is
supporting opened their classes with 478
children benefiting from this program.
The pupils and
their mothers were given education concerning
proper nutrition and proper diets with a feeding
program implemented for the schools. The use of
native foods and vegetables that are rich in
vitamins and nutrients was encouraged.
Linggo Ng Wika is
an occasion that was celebrated by all the
schools. The aim was to intensify Filipino
language among Filipino students. The practice
of Filipino language was given an emphasis
inside the classroom.
Christian
materials were used and special character
building programs were implemented to coincide
with the purpose of reaching the child wholly
spirit soul and body.
Bible classes
were conducted with the parents also providing
them with an understanding of the principles
being taught to the children. The response was
great as the parents lives were changed also as
they grew in a greater understanding of life and
how to live victoriously.
CCEF invested
over $63,000 in education programs in the
