Jaira
is presently enrolled in the Children’s Hope
Learning Center, a Kinder II pupil. The critical
moment in her life was when she was in Kinder I.
She was afraid to participate in the class
although she knew the answer. There were times
that she was hesitant to approach her teacher
about the lessons she didn’t understand. But
now, there are great positive changes that took
place in her. Throughout the past one and half
year at the Children’s Hope Learning center,
she learned to express herself about the things
she feels. Jaira can talk straight about the
things she needs to understand and clarify. She
also learned to do her other responsibilities in
school with so much confidence.
Jaira is the
eldest child out of two siblings. She was born
in July 14th 1996. Due to extreme
poverty in the home her parents could not afford
to send her to school. When her parents heard
about the Children’s Hope project in the area
they enrolled their child in the project and
Jaira became one of the 596 beneficiaries of the
project. The Project provided the beneficiaries
with free education (tuition fee, school
supplies and books).
Jaira’s dream
is to become a nurse someday. With the
educational foundation she is getting now from
the project and by the grace of the almighty
God. Jaira’s dream is no longer an impossible
dream.
